Liberation – awakening – new consciousness of a situation that existed from the beginning but that one was unable to realize.
Ignorance – ignorance of oneself – is a forgetting of one’s true Self, which can be regained by tearing the veil of illusion. In this overcoming ignorance is awakening, providing liberation.
